Open Air Village owners, Nicole and Bryan Gay, have been hosting Nature Education programs since 2016.
Formerly known as "TA-DA Learning," our sessions have been rewarding for families
who love to explore the outdoors and learn with their children.
We love Open Air Village! Our oldest daughter attended for 2 years, both preschool and Wonder Garden. She had a seamless transition from OAV’s child-led, play-based structure to the greater academic focus of kindergarten. Our middle daughter is in her first year of preschool now, and our youngest attends other offered programs including music class and natural infant movement class.
Bryan and Nicole work tirelessly to create an environment that nurtures not only the children but their families as well. We are so happy with the focus on the children’s social-emotional development. They also lead monthly parent groups, with childcare provided, that are educational, supportive, and empowering in the most judgment-free environment.
All the staff at OAV are patient, approachable, and compassionate. Their belief that every child is a whole person deserving of kindness and respect is evident in the way they interact with all the children. While trusting our children to learn and play in their own way, there is always a focus on safety, a daily routine, and holding boundaries. They also have taken great care in managing my daughter’s food allergy. We feel so lucky every day to be a part of the Open Air Village!
My son attended Ta-Da Learning outdoor nature session last fall and again this spring in Fairborn. We look forward to coming back each week. Nicole always has a variety of activities with a theme for the kids. The sensory bins are always a hit and a favorite of my almost 3 year old along with the little hikes to the woods to explore. She is enthusiastic and passionate about what she does, anyone that meets her would see this right away. Nicole encourages the kids to explore and learn in their own way. She also encourages and welcomes younger siblings to come as well. I bring my 1 year old and although he does not actively participate, he is still watching and learning. So glad we found Ta-Da Learning. Both my son and I have learned so much from Nicole and her nature sessions.

Since beginning TA-DA Learning, Teacher Nicole and Mr. Bryan have become household names. My toddler Crosby has developed his emotional and social skills in the company of his peers while experiencing the natural world, listening to stories, creating crafts, and exploring through sensory play. The nurturing environment Teacher Nicole and Mr. Bryan provide has been instrumental in facilitating growth opportunities for BOTH Crosby and me! Thank you, TA-DA! My 2-year-old granddaughter has really enjoyed the TA-DA Learning experience with Nicole and Bryan. Their classes and creative approach have provided a safe and loving environment for Taylor to explore in developmentally appropriate ways! I have been very encouraged by the other parents and grandparents in the classes as we all work together to build and strengthen the children's social skills as well! As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I truly value these early, positive experiences for all areas of development and highly recommend TA-DA Learning!
